These spectacular glass flowers were created over a 50 years period by father and son, Leopold and Rudolf Blaschka. They made over 4,000 life-sized replicas of 830 plants for Harvard's Natural History Museum. These packets of 12 cards and envelopes show 6 of the "flowers".

The Cheekwood Estate and Botanical Gardens are a wonderful place to visit if you happen to be in the Nashville area. Not only the magnificent gardens but also the major art works that are on display are wonderful.
